He studied painting at Wimbledon College of Art in London. He has been part of the Maze Studio collective since September 2007, and also the Avalaan Familia - a group of artists, skateboarders, snowboarders and skiers scattered through the Alps (www.avalaan.com). The figure is always central to his work as is control of the viewer, from his oversized and distorted graphite drawings through to the recent portraiture. In 2007 he won the silver medal (DeLazlo Foundation Award - best portrait by an artist aged 25 and under) at The Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition at The Mall Galleries in London.
